Frequently Asked Questions

Session Info

Q: When is my payment due?

A: Deposit of $100 is required to hold the date and the remaining balance is due the day of shoot.

Q: How long does my session run?

A: Sessions run for 1-1/2 hours and a newborn session runs up to 2 hours.  My clock starts ticking the moment I snap the first picture. Yes, my sessions run on a timer and you must be on time too.

Q: What should I do to be ready the day of the shoot?

A: If there is an outfit change, come dressed and ready to go in your nice outfit first.  During hot days, you might want to bring a COLD drink with you to help keep you cool.;-)

Q: How many pictures do I get and how long before I have them?

A: You will get 15-20 edited images per session.  I choose the best ones from each pose based on clarity, exposure, etc.  Your pictures are usually ready in a week, if I am currently busy with a lot of work you can expect for your pictures to be ready max two weeks.

Q: How do I get my pictures?

A: I will mail you your disc with your 15 to 20 edited images and a print release form.

Q: What is a print release?

A: Print release is my permission for you to print unlimited pictures on your CD. You do not own my images, you must not crop, color correct or make any changes to my images. This also means you may not enter any contest or publish my images without my permission. If you would like to own certain images, please send me a message and I can price your copyrights.

Q: Where do sessions take place?

A: Upon booking we will discuss where you would like the session to take place.  I do all my photography sessions outdoors in and around the downtown/Heights area with the exception of boudoir and newborn sessions. There is an additional charge if traveling outside of the Houston area.  Depending on location travel fee will vary from $50 to $100.

Q: Do you offer prints?

A: Yes. I use a local lab that does outstanding work at a great price! Stay away from Walgreens, CVS or other chain stores that do not recognize professional editing if you decide to print larger prints exceeding 5×7.

Q: When do I book my newborn session?

A: Contact me a few weeks before hand so I can pencil you in around your due date. Babies are so unpredictable so I always accommodate for these sessions. Send me an e-mail or a text message when you are at the hospital so we can book you within the first 7-10 days after birth.

Q: Do you come to my house for newborn sessions?

A: Yes

Q: When do i book my maternity session?

A: It depends on you as long as you are showing.  Some women like to wait until their 30th week, but others like to do it before then.

Q: Do you provide a belly to baby package?

A: I can, send me a message for pricing.
